The Permanent Mission of Italy to the OSCE is responsible for relations with the Vienna-based Organization, representing Italy's position in meetings and negotiations and ensuring participation in the multiple activities of the Organization.
Italy held the Presidency of the OSCE in 2018 and is one of the 57 participating States of the Organization. It is a strong supporter either in political terms (in close co-ordination with European Union and NATO partners) or in terms of resources.
